Any assignment that is turned in late without permission from the instructor will have the following consequences: A 10% penalty for every late day will be imposed on the paper and no more than three late days will be accepted. For example, a late day is defined as any day after the due date and time, e.g. if the assignment is due Sunday at 11:59 PM ET then an assignment turned in at 12:00 AM ET Monday will be late and constitute the first late day; the second late day would be Tuesday at 12:00 AM ET etc. Assignments turned in after the three day period will receive a zero with no exceptions.Learning Activities have due dates within a week and are determined by the faculty instructor. However, all learning activities for the week are due at the close of the week by 11:59 p.m. EST. Additionally, students are expected to provide documentation for the excuse. Present the reason needed for additional time and preliminary work (i.e., outlines, note cards, bibliographies, etc.) completed on the assignment. I will provide either an extension with a new due date of my choice or deny the request in writing. I will provide an email with a clear statement of extension or denial.
