Jesus Christ for today’s world by Jurgen Moltmann of Fortress Press
This is a BOOK Critique of Moltmann’s Jesus Christ for Today’s World. You will not need to read or critique chapters 4 and 6. Key features to know of the critique are that this is NOT a book summary, and it needs to be 7 to 8 pages in length (double spaced) in 12 pt. font. This is a book critique of a critical evaluation of the author’s work. To include: an introductory paragraph that contains a strong thesis. One paragraph (no more) containing a brief biography of the author. The bulk of the paper (at least 5 pages) should unveil and prove your thesis. Typically, this is done by stating Moltmann’s main argument (how does he support his thesis), and then “critiquing” or evaluating his argument; since this is only a 7 to 8 page paper do not go over 8 pages. You will need to pick and choose which arguments to critique and evaluate. Lastly, your last paragraph should tell me if you would recommend this book to another person and why — interact with this paragraph. A few more stylist tips: every paper should have a cover sheet with your name on it: Leah Miles Theology October 2017 Professor Allison Do not have too many quotes from Moltmann’s book (only those that help support your thesis), and never long ones (if it’s more than two sentences, it’s too long). Remember to write in paragraphs. There shouldn’t be a need for footnotes in this paper. If you quote from Moltmann’s book, just use an endnote (Moltmann, P??). Thank you.
