Response 1.) Tomeka
Toss a coin 40 times and record the number of heads. Develop a frequency distribution of the number of heads from the results of your experiment. Does this distribution seem to approximate the normal distribution? Is it skewed? What is important about the number of tosses – 40 in this case?
Coin TossNumber of heads = XFrequency (f(X))022118
The number of tosses is important because you can tell whether the experiment is skewed or does it have a normal distribution. For example, I tossed a coin 40 times, then got 18 heads. In this case, the distribution seems to approximate the normal distribution. Is it skewed? It is positively skewed. In 40 toses, you get many more frequencies. In 40 coin tosses, I received 0-coins on head. The probability of getting head or tail is the same.

Number of heads (x) Frequency
0 23
1 17
If I tossed a coin 60 times then got 17 heads.
Yes distance seem to approximate the normal distribution. It is a positively skewed.
In 40 tosses we get many more frequencies i.e. In 40 tosses we do not get any head which is why we get zero head, in 40 tosses also we get only one head for remaining 40 heads, and the probabilty of getting heads and tals is the same. A coin is tossed 40 times then we get 240
outcomes.
Response 3.) Eric
“I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches hidden in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.” Isaiah 45:3
In Isaiah 45:3, God promised the Israelites to release from bondage to Babylon and deliverance for his wayward people through a Persian king named Cyrus. During his conquest, Cyrus found treasures the Jews had buried as they were taken captive. Like King Cyrus, who found treasures hidden in the darkness, we can find treasures too—hope in the unexpected places of darkness, those painful places of suffering where you would very much like not to be. We ask for miracles every day because we know he is God, and we are not. Sometimes God intervenes in ways that we have begged for. Other times, he does not. This verse reveals that God will be close to you in your darkness.
The “hidden treasures” to which God was referring was the accumulated wealth of the Babylonians that they had stored away in the manner described in the cited verse but which Cyrus plundered during his conquest of Babylon. This scripture applies to all the elements of statistics that we have done so far by allowing us to find hidden treasures of statistics and how to apply these jewels to become leaders in the business world.

Response 4.) Kimberly
Isaiah 45:3 I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.
Isaiah 48:6 You have heard these things; look at them all. Will you not admit them? “From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you.
The above Scriptures apply to the previous lessons that we have learned so far in this class by ensuring us that there is so much more to be known. We have reached a point in our personal and academic lives where we still need knowledge. These scriptures teach us that the work that we are doing in school is necessary and reveal to us the added treasures that we are needing in life. God is gifting us the ability to do the work and read the literature to inform and teach ourselves what we will need for the future. These hidden jewels that are located in the text and other forms of educational material will assist us in the paths and doings that God has in store for us. We must remember that whatever we plan to do God is going to be in control and we must allow Him to direct our paths of the knowledge that we will obtain from the hidden treasures that we are learning.
